My intent is not to draw any conclusions about Acupuncture, but to share my observations while a patient at the Acupuncture Clinic. After receiving a six-month course of therapy, I believe that Acupuncture does help with pain management.

Prior to becoming a patient, I was somewhat apprehensive about undergoing Acupuncture, given my history of traditional Chinese medicine, and my lack of healthcare knowledge. Fortunately, the Acupuncture Clinic in Arvada, Colorado was not like other health care facilities in the area. A peer reviewed student acupuncture clinic successfully integrated traditional Chinese medicine into an urban health care center-based teen clinic serving primarily low-income minority groups. During my six-month course of therapy, the acupuncture clinic had over 544 visits for a range of ailments.

While a few patients had lingering feelings from previous medical procedures, most of the complaints were mild and easily treated.During my Colorado visit, I was treated by Dr. Yang, a well known practitioner with 40 years of experience. Despite my initial impressions, Dr. Yang was very warm and patient. Throughout the six-month course, I was treated by the same acupuncturist, who recommended that I try different modalities. During my first appointment with Dr. Yang, he suggested that I try acupuncture services. I found this surprising, given my traditional Chinese medicine background.

Through the recommendation of a friend, I visited the Acupuncture Clinic in Arvada and was impressed with their dedication to providing safe, high quality, and effective care for patients.Upon first seeing the staff, I noticed Rocky Mountain Acu that all of them were professionally dressed, making me feel at home. They also had a full table full of different modalities available, and upon request, each treatment could be personalized to fit the needs of the individual. There were several forms of treatments, including energy therapy, Thai massage, and even a Swedish massage. All of these treatments were received on a first come, first served basis, and were done quickly.

After visiting the Acupuncture Clinic in Arvada, I knew that this could be a suitable alternative to prescription medications and traditional Western medicine. It is my belief that it is important to distinguish between complementary and standard Western medicine, especially for adolescents. My experience made it clear to me that this modality offers the promise of freedom from addictive behaviors and substance abuse. I want to thank the staff at the Acupuncture Clinic in Arvada for the trust they displayed in me, and I wish them all of the success they continue to enjoy with complimentary medicine, and their dedication to providing a high level of care to all of their patients.

I encourage anyone who is interested in receiving treatment through an alternative modality such as acupuncture or massage to investigate Arvada the options that are available in their area. The benefits of receiving care from a team of trained professionals who are experienced and skilled in the art of healthful living should be quite appealing to everyone. In our country, it is becoming more difficult for many of us to afford health care, let alone a quality, comprehensive treatment plan. That’s why I encourage you, the parent of a child who may be underserved by traditional hospitals and physicians to look into complimentary modalities, such as Acupuncture Clinic in Arvada. Your child’s health is priceless, and you deserve to know you have a child capable of living a full life, free of addiction and disease
